Twilight

I keep reading about the book Twlight everywhere I turn, so I decided to read the book. I love it and I cannot put it down. I keep trying to put W. and H. down for naps so I can read more. Good thing W. started preschool and I have a little extra time to read two mornings a week. I really thought the book wasn't for me because it was about Vampires, but it reminds me of Meg Cabot's Sanctuary series. Well - the book is calling me ...

Peer Pressure

We were all sitting at the dinner table and making plans for the remainder of the evening. W., T., H., and myself were going to go for a walk. W. asked G. if she wanted to come and she said no. W. then says, "why not, everyone else likes to go for walk." He is three and already laying on the peer pressure. I guess I better start warning the other parents of his new skills.

Bookclub mutiny

I was going to my bookclub this afternoon prepared to tell everyone I hated the book and yell at the woman who suggested it. Well everyone LOVED it and now we are reading the sequel for our October pick. How does that happen? In my head I am thinking I would never recommend to anyone and now I will read the sequel. And after we discussed the book I did realize the better points of the book and I guess that I liked it. When I said I just wanted a little nugget of hope at the end two women kind of snickered and told me to read the sequel. So I guess things turn out okay. It better, I told those two women if it didn't I was holding them responsible.

Big dirt piles

So we are having the foundation of our house fixed and this past weekend my two brother-in-laws and my husband dug out all of the old foundation and put up temporary walls. And the cement trucks came this morning to pour new footings. So our lawn is a big huge dirt pile. W. wants to play in it all the time but we have to keep him away. It is hard for him and his lonely shovel.

So as you can see I have added some pictures. The first is of Me and T at this really cool rock that is out on the 4-wheeler trails near our house. T likes to hunt from the top of this rock. The other two pics are of our two boys. Pretty cute, huh?

Brand New to this..

So here we go - from the advise of my cousin I am starting this. Who knows if anyone will ever read it but I am sure it will be filled with lots of cool and interesting stuff!
