Bookclub mutiny

I was going to my bookclub this afternoon prepared to tell everyone I hated the book and yell at the woman who suggested it. Well everyone LOVED it and now we are reading the sequel for our October pick. How does that happen? In my head I am thinking I would never recommend to anyone and now I will read the sequel. And after we discussed the book I did realize the better points of the book and I guess that I liked it. When I said I just wanted a little nugget of hope at the end two women kind of snickered and told me to read the sequel. So I guess things turn out okay. It better, I told those two women if it didn't I was holding them responsible.
